1️⃣ How to book and what's the payment method?
To book, fill out the form on the contact page, and I'll reach out via your preferred method of communication. You can pay through PayPal (advance payment) or in cash right after the shoot.
2️⃣ Do we need to pay additional charges?
The pricing on my website already includes my transportation costs. You'll also need to cover any entrance fees for temples and shrines we visit if you choose those locations for the photoshoot.
3️⃣ How and when can I receive the photos?
I’ll send you an online gallery that expires after 25 days, so be sure to download the photos promptly. I’ll remind you before the link expires. Photos are usually ready in 3-7 days, but during peak seasons (autumn/spring), it may take 7-15 days. Let me know if you need them sooner!
4️⃣ How many photos can I receive?
The number of photos you receive depends on the length of your photoshoot. A typical 1-hour session will give you at least 60 edited photos. (See number 5️⃣)
5️⃣ Do you do extensive editing?
All photos will be edited with professional color grading and enhancements in my style. However, this does not include heavy alterations. For detailed retouching or extensive editing, I typically edit up to 5 photos per hour, or 10 photos for a 2-hour session. If you need additional edits, it's 900 yen for every two photos.
If you're late, it will shorten the overall photoshoot time. However, I understand that delays can happen, so please let me know as soon as possible if you'll be running late.
7️⃣ Can we hold an outdoor photoshoot if it's going to rain?
I’ll check the weather a week before your shoot and help plan alternatives if needed. But keep in mind, rain can add a unique, atmospheric touch to your photos, so it’s worth considering!
8️⃣ Do you do photoshoots with Spanish-speaking clients?
Yes! My wife, who is from Mexico, can assist Spanish-speaking clients. She's friendly and outgoing, and she'll make sure you have a great experience.
9️⃣ Do you give RAW files?
Upon request, I can provide the unedited version in JPEG format, not in .ARW format. If you need them in .ARW files, there's an additional fee of ¥5,000.
🔟 For Kimono shoots, where should I go for kimono rental?
I’ll send you kimono rental info a few weeks before the shoot. Some shops don't need reservations, so walk-ins are fine. Please arrive at least 1 hour early to allow time for dressing and hairstyling.
11) I don't know anything about posing, do you help clients?
Absolutely! I have experience working with models and I'm happy to share my posing tips with you.
12) Do you offer photography sessions with kids, toddlers, or babies?
I’ve got plenty of experience photographing kids, including my own energetic son. I know how to capture great shots, even with active kids. Feel free to bring their favorite toys to help them relax.
13) Can you help me with surprise photoshoots?
Yes, I've organized surprise photoshoots like proposals, birthday surprises, and reunions. Just let me know your preferences, and I can suggest ideas.
