From a Surprise in Kyoto to the Lights of Osaka
Sometimes, a proposal happens so fast that there isn't time for photos! After Honest proposed to Kiara in Kyoto, they realized they didn't have any professional shots to remember the moment. Kiara reached out to La Casita Photography for a proper engagement session to celebrate their new journey.
A Change of Plans
Originally, the couple wanted to shoot at Osaka Castle. However, because our schedule was very full, I suggested a night session in Dotonbori instead. I am so glad we made that choice! The bright signs and red lanterns provided a colorful, high-energy backdrop that perfectly matched their youthful vibe.
Style and Movement
Kiara’s outfit was absolutely stunning. Her light blue, flowy dress was perfect for photography because it captured movement so well. Whether they were walking through narrow alleys or standing by the water, the dress added a soft, romantic touch to the urban environment.
Natural Pros at Posing
Even though our session was only 30 minutes long, we finished with an incredible variety of shots. Kiara and Honest were so natural in front of the camera and were ready for every pose. Because they were so comfortable with each other, we were able to move quickly between different backgrounds, from the busy main streets to quiet, hidden corners.
It was such a pleasure to work with a couple as kind and prepared as Kiara and Honest. They made the streets of Osaka look like a movie set. We wish them all the luck in the world as they plan their future together!
